About This Item

Handcrafted by UTEC using hardwoods sourced locally from the east coast, these cutting boards are built to last for years of everyday use. Every board is pieced together from reclaimed strips of Ash, Cherry, and Walnut that were donated to UTEC by Keiver-Willard Lumber Corp. Measurements: 7" x 10" x 0.875". Buying one of these boards helps fund UTEC's mission of helping young people break through barriers to success, and 100% of the profits from each sale go directly toward supporting UTEC's operations. Preserve is proud to carry UTEC cutting boards in our online store, and because all proceeds benefit UTEC directly, these boards are never discounted, even during our sales. Care Instructions: Clean by wiping with soap and water - do not soak the board. Apply mineral oil once a month or as needed to maintain the wood. This board is not dishwasher safe.

About UTEC: Preserve is happy to introduce you to UTEC, an organization committed to supporting young people as they work to overcome serious challenges like poverty, gang involvement, joblessness, and cultural obstacles common in their community. Located in Lowell, MA, UTEC follows a proven approach to help young people build successful futures, benefiting both them and the broader community.
