Vegan America Return Policy
At Vegan America, we want every purchase to feel good - for you, for the planet, and for the animals. We know that sometimes a product might not be the right fit, and when that happens, we’re here to help make the return process clear and hassle-free.
Return Window & Eligibility
Most items purchased on Vegan America can be returned for a refund or exchange within 30 days of delivery, as long as they’re in their original, unused, and unopened condition.
Because Vegan America is a marketplace with both established and emerging vegan brands, return policies may vary slightly by item. To confirm whether a product is returnable, please check the vendor page before placing your order (simply tap on the vendor name for the specific product). If your item qualifies for a return, we’ll provide the correct instructions and return location for the specific vendor that shipped the product.
Refunds
Once the vendor receives your returned item and verifies it meets the return criteria, a refund will be issued.
Typical timeline:
- Vendors usually process returns within 7 days of receiving the item
- Some refunds may take additional time depending on the brand’s processing time
- After Vegan America issues the refund, your bank or payment provider may require extra time to release funds
- If additional information is needed to complete the return, we’ll reach out to you directly.
Non-Returnable Items
Certain items can’t be returned for health, safety, or customization reasons. These include:
- Perishable food items
- Opened personal-care, skincare, or beauty products
- Items that may pose hygiene or safety concerns once opened
- Custom or made-to-order items
- Gift cards or other redeemable products
- Any item with return restrictions listed on its product or vendor page
If a non-returnable or Final Sale item arrives damaged, defective, or significantly different from what you ordered, contact us and we’ll work with the brand to resolve the issue.
Damaged, Incorrect, or Missing Items
If something arrives damaged, defective, missing, or not as described, please notify us within 7 days of delivery and include photos. We’ll make sure the issue is handled quickly with the vendor.
