01 About the Vegan America Marketplace

Vegan America Marketplace is an online platform that connects consumers with brands offering plant-based and vegan products. We verify that participating brands confirm their products are plant-based or vegan, but Vegan America is not the direct seller for all products listed. Orders are typically fulfilled directly by partner brands.

02 Vendor Eligibility

To be a vendor on Vegan America, your brand must:

• Sell products that are 100% plant-based or vegan.
• Be a registered business entity in good standing.
• Have an active eCommerce platform (Shopify, WooCommerce, or another supported integration) or be willing to fulfill orders manually.
• Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and labeling requirements in your country of operation.

03 Fees & Payments

No monthly fees or setup costs. Joining Vegan America is free.

We charge a 15% commission on the product subtotal of each completed transaction, plus a 2.95% payment processing fee. These fees are deducted automatically at the time of payout.

Payouts are issued on a regular schedule (typically every two weeks) via the payment method you select during onboarding. You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or fees applicable in your jurisdiction.

04 Integration & Setup

Setup typically takes 10-15 minutes. We integrate with major eCommerce platforms, including Shopify, WooCommerce, and others. Once connected, your product catalog (titles, descriptions, images, pricing, and inventory) imports automatically and stays in sync with your store.

You are responsible for keeping your product information, pricing, and inventory accurate on your origin platform. We are not liable for issues arising from outdated or incorrect product data on your end.

05 Order Fulfillment

When a customer places an order on Vegan America, we push the order directly to your eCommerce platform. You fulfill the order on your end, using your own shipping carriers, packaging, and processes.

• Orders must be shipped within the timeframe stated on your product listings.
• You are responsible for providing accurate tracking information.
• You are responsible for any shipping costs, returns, and customer communication related to fulfillment.

06 Marketing & Promotion

As part of the partnership, Vegan America features vendor products across our marketing channels at no additional cost. This includes our newsletter, social media (with hundreds of thousands of followers), editorial content, and seasonal campaigns.

By joining as a vendor, you grant Vegan America a non-exclusive license to use your brand name, logo, product images, and descriptions for marketing and promotional purposes on the Marketplace and across our channels.

07 Product Information & Authenticity

You confirm that all products listed are plant-based and/or vegan and that all product descriptions, ingredients, and labeling are accurate. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your product listings.

If a product is found to be mislabeled or to contain animal-derived ingredients, we reserve the right to remove the listing immediately and, depending on severity, suspend or terminate your vendor account.

08 Returns & Customer Service

Each vendor sets and publishes its own return and refund policy. You are responsible for handling returns, refunds, and customer service inquiries related to your products in a timely and professional manner.

Vegan America may step in to help resolve disputes if a customer is unable to reach a vendor or if a complaint remains unresolved.

09 Vendor Conduct

As a vendor, you agree not to:

• List non-vegan or animal-derived products under any circumstances.
• Misrepresent your products, ingredients, certifications, or origin.
• Engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful practices.
• Use the Marketplace to circumvent customers off-platform to avoid fees.
• Interfere with the operation or security of the Marketplace.

We reserve the right to remove listings, suspend accounts, or terminate vendor agreements for violations.

10 Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your brand, logos, and product content. By listing on Vegan America, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display and promote your content on the Marketplace and across our marketing channels.

All Vegan America branding, designs, and platform content remain the property of Vegan America and may not be reproduced without written permission.

11 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vegan America is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Marketplace. Our total liability for any claim related to your vendor account will not exceed the total commission paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.

12 Termination

You may close your vendor account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate vendor accounts that violate these Terms, harm the customer experience, or list non-compliant products. Outstanding payouts will be issued in accordance with the standard payout schedule.

13 Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates take effect upon posting on our website. Continued use of the Marketplace as a vendor means you accept the revised Terms.

14 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
