About This Item

DESCRIPTION: Plenty of vegan belts stop at simply being vegan. Ours don't. Most brands rely on Zamak, a zinc alloy, for their buckles because it's cheap and common in mass production. Doshi belts instead mostly use stainless steel buckles, a higher-quality material that holds up better against corrosion and everyday wear. You'll notice the premium feel just from the weight of it in your hand. This particular finish, brushed silver, has less of a mirror-like shine compared to our Professional 2 Polished Chrome Belt. The difference between the two is subtle, but this version is meant for anyone who prefers a quieter, less flashy buckle.\nWhen it comes to the strap material, most companies use PU. We use microfiber instead, because its non-woven base holds up better and lets the top coat bond to it more securely, extending its lifespan. But we didn't stop at just choosing microfiber - we searched extensively to find the best version of it. Our primary supplier now produces a custom microfiber exclusively for us, made with a base that's over 60% recycled material. We aim to get every detail right.\nMost brands don't think much about what's inside the belt or how thick it is. We do, down to the millimeter. This belt belongs to our 5.0 line, meaning each one measures between 4.8mm and 5.2mm thick - about 10% to 25% thicker than our original belts, and noticeably thicker than most competitors' belts, which typically run 3mm to 3.5mm. This added thickness is designed to give the belt a solid, durable feel without making it too bulky. We think you'll appreciate how it feels, and like most belts, it will break in and mold to your shape with wear.\n\nSIZING: If you usually wear pants or jeans in sizes from major brands such as Levi's, Banana Republic, or Express, we suggest sizing up by one from your normal pants size.
