The insoles are removable, so they can either mold to your feet over time or be swapped out for your own custom insoles.

- Upper: VEGEA vegan leather (14% vegetal resins and grape, 11% water-based PU, 25% recycled PET upper), combined with dope-dyed 50% recycled PET for the knit sections
- Insole: 85% recycled PU, 15% PU, plus cork
- Lining: 100% recycled PET
- Membrane: COSMO Nature-tex Bio (50% castor bean oil, 50% recyclable polyamide)
- Midsole: 35% recycled EVA, 65% EVA
- Outsole: 55% natural rubber, 40% synthetic rubber, 5% cork
- Laces: 100% organic cotton
- Weight: 15 oz per shoe (men's) / 12.3 oz per shoe (women's)

SUSTAINABILITY:
The vegan leather is produced from grape waste, which leads to reduced greenhouse gas emissions. The waterproof membrane is made from castor bean oil, a renewable resource that lowers dependence on fossil fuels. Production takes place in our own factories in Vietnam, which uphold ethical and environmental standards under BSCI certification. The product carries sustainability certifications including the Global Recycled Standard (GRS), the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), and OEKO-TEX 100.

Care Instructions

Depending on the style, there are two ways to clean your SAOLAs. In both cases, be sure to remove the insoles first.


For these models:
TSAVO - WANAKA KNIT - CANNON KNIT - WANAKA CANVAS - CANNON CANVAS - VIRUNGA, take out the cork insole before machine washing your shoes. Use a gentle cycle and keep the water temperature below 30°C (86°F)


For these models:
WANAKA - WANAKA WATERPROOF - WANAKA WATERPROOF WARM - ALTA VIBRAM – BERGEN (ALL) - CANNON - CANNON WATERPROOF - CANNON KNIT WOOL - TSAVO WOOL - TSAVO WATERPROOF - CANNON LINEN - CANNON VL - SEQUOIA, first, remove the cork insole. Then, wash your shoes by hand using a sponge and mild soap.


To clean your insoles, simply remove them from the shoes and wash gently by hand using a sponge and mild soap
