Our beloved Classic Bifold Wallet now comes in a Piñatex® version! Piñatex® is a leather substitute crafted from the fibers of pineapple leaves. This striking material isn't just environmentally conscious - it's also impressively long-lasting and every bit as attractive as conventional leather. Learn more about Piñatex® here. Ordinarily, close to 50% of each pineapple harvested would be discarded as waste. Nowadays, though, businesses worldwide are transforming the non-edible portions of the fruit into fabric, allowing companies such as ours to craft them into great vegan goods! FEATURES
This Classic Bifold Piñatex® wallet is crafted from stunning, durable, sustainable, and biodegradable Piñatex® material.
- Exterior: Constructed from pineapple leaf fiber, recognized as the first genuinely sustainable vegan leather
- Interior: Lined with polyester made from recycled plastic bottles (RPET)
- Mostly, though not entirely, biodegradable
- Folded Edges: The wallet's corners are folded over and stitched, a sturdier build method that boosts durability while giving it a neater appearance
- Six card slots, plus two extra larger slots positioned behind them on either side
- Two cash sleeves
- Tough, scratch-resistant material
- RFID-blocking protection
- Contains no leather or animal-derived materials; certified as a PETA-Approved Vegan Wallet

The answer lies simply in the material cost - Piñatex runs about five times pricier than our standard materials. We're hopeful that as sustainable materials like this gain wider adoption globally, manufacturers will be able to scale production and lower costs over time. Our hope is that eventually, sustainable options like this will simply become the standard choice.
