Cedar Forest Beard Oil is a seven-ingredient formula put together the way a pharmacist approaches skin and hair care, not the way a marketing department designs a bottle label. Each oil included has a specific job:
- Jojoba Seed Oil: chemically the closest plant oil to your skin's own sebum, so it soaks in rather than sitting on the surface
- Sunflower Seed Oil: a light, vitamin E-packed oil that softens the beard without adding heaviness
- Olive Squalane: a deeply hydrating, non-greasy oil that helps ease the itching and flaking common with new beard growth
- Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride: gives a smooth, lightweight slip that helps the other oils spread evenly across skin and beard
- Grape Seed Oil: the single ingredient most other beard oils rely on entirely. We include it too, but as one part of the mix, not the whole thing
- Broccoli Seed Oil: a plant-based stand-in for silicone that provides shine and softness without leaving residue
- Isopropyl Myristate: helps the oil absorb quickly so it sinks in rather than leaving a greasy layer
The blend is rounded out with Cedar fragrance oil for that grounding, woodsy scent.
