Whose idea was this, anyway?
August, the son of one of our bakers, kept eating up all the bread butts since they're his favorite. He pointed out, quite reasonably, 'I don't know why you adults don't sell these and call them bread butts.' There wasn't much of a counterargument, so we made it happen. In return, August negotiated free bread butts for life. 😉
