2) To help keep more good food out of landfills 🤭! Here's how: a lot of cafes and sandwich shops use our Long Slice bread, and typically these places don't use the heel ends - they just toss them. So instead, we trim those heels off, package them up, and turn them into a fun novelty bread. 😍🙌

Who came up with this idea, anyway?
August, the son of one of our bakers, kept eating all the bread butts because they're his favorite. One day he pointed out, quite reasonably, 'I don't know why you adults don't sell these and call them bread butts.' Nobody could argue with that logic, so we made it happen. In return, August negotiated himself free bread butts for life. 😉
