EMMA vegan sneakers mark a meaningful step in our commitment to sustainable fashion. Their upper is made completely from apple leather, a sustainable material produced from fibers salvaged from the waste left over during apple juice production. This apple leather is both waterproof and breathable, making the shoes suitable for long walks in any weather, be it rain or heat. Thanks to this durable, high-quality plant-based leather, these sneakers are built to last for years. Inside, a soft and flexible bamboo fabric lining cradles your feet, keeping them warm in winter and cool in summer. Bamboo naturally resists bacteria and fungus while regulating temperature, so your feet stay comfortable throughout the year. For health reasons, we selected natural cork insoles, which are long-lasting, antiseptic, absorb moisture, and help prevent chafing. Topping it all off is an ultralight, comfortable sole that lets you wear the shoes all day without any downsides. EMMA embodies our minimalist philosophy - we left out unnecessary extras and decoration. In place of traditional laces, we use 100% natural linen laces, which can be easily recycled later on. This model is built using Strobel construction, a specialized shoemaking method that boosts shoe comfort while cutting adhesive use by 70-80% compared to studded construction techniques. This construction method also increases breathability and helps avoid the unpleasant odors that adhesives can produce when they react with sweat.
