The upper of these sneakers is crafted completely from apple leather, an innovative and long-lasting material made from fibers left over after industrial apple juice and snack manufacturing. Built with longevity in mind, it keeps your sneakers dependable for years of wear. This vegan apple-based leather is also fully waterproof and breathable, so you can wear the shoes no matter the weather - whether it's muggy or scorching outside. Reaching the moon and back has never looked so stylish!

Inside, the lining varies by color option: either a soft, flexible bamboo fabric or a breathable organic cotton. For added health benefits, a natural cork insole is used - it's durable, naturally antiseptic, moisture-wicking, and helps prevent chafing. Topping it off is an ultralight, comfortable sole designed for all-day wear without any downsides.

The JANE model keeps embellishments to a minimum, featuring just one small decorative touch: a checkered patch on the back of the upper made from 100% recycled disposable plastic bottles. Rather than conventional laces, this shoe uses 100% natural laces made from pure linen, chosen for their easy future recyclability.

Construction uses the Strobel method, a specialized shoemaking technique that boosts overall shoe comfort while cutting adhesive use by 70-80% compared to studded construction methods. This results in a more breathable shoe and helps avoid the unpleasant odors that adhesives can produce when they react with sweat.
