About This Item

Crafted entirely from apple leather, the upper of these sneakers uses an innovative and durable material sourced from leftover fibers of industrial apple juice and snack manufacturing. Built with longevity in mind, it guarantees your footwear stays dependable for years. This vegan apple-based leather is also completely waterproof and breathable, meaning you can wear the shoes no matter the weather - humid or hot, they've got you covered, always with style.

Depending on which color you choose, the interior of these vegan sneakers features either a soft, flexible bamboo lining or a breathable organic cotton lining. On top of that, a natural cork insole has been included for health reasons - it's durable, naturally antiseptic, moisture-wicking, and helps prevent chafing. Rounding things off is an ultralight, comfortable sole that lets you wear the shoes all day long without any downsides.

The JANE model keeps things minimal, skipping unnecessary embellishments except for one detail: a small checkered patch on the back of the upper, made from 100% recycled disposable plastic bottles. In place of standard laces, the shoes come with laces made of 100% pure linen, chosen for how easily they can be recycled down the line.

These sneakers are constructed using Strobel construction, a shoemaking method that boosts comfort while cutting adhesive use by 70-80% compared to traditional studded construction techniques. This results in a more breathable shoe and helps avoid the unpleasant odors that adhesives can produce when they react with sweat.
