About This Item

The upper part of these sneakers is crafted completely from apple leather, an innovative and long-lasting material made from the leftover fibers of industrial apple juice and snack manufacturing. Built to endure, it keeps your sneakers performing as a dependable choice for years. On top of that, this vegan apple leather is both waterproof and breathable, so you can wear these shoes no matter the weather, be it muggy or scorching. To the moon and back - always in style! Depending on which color you choose, the interior of these vegan sneakers is lined with either soft, flexible bamboo fabric or breathable organic cotton. Furthermore, for health reasons, a natural cork insole was chosen - it's durable, antiseptic, wicks away moisture, and helps prevent chafing. Topping it all off is an ultralight, comfortable sole that lets you wear the shoes throughout the day without any downsides. For the JANE style, extra embellishments and details were deliberately left out, with a single exception: a small checkered patch on the back of the upper, made from 100% recycled disposable plastic bottles. In place of standard laces, the shoes feature 100% natural linen laces, chosen for how easily they can be recycled down the line. This model is built with what's known as Strobel construction, a shoemaking method that boosts comfort while cutting adhesive use by 70-80% compared to traditional lasting techniques. This construction also improves the shoe's breathability and helps avoid the unpleasant smells that adhesives can produce when they react with sweat.
