About This Item

The EMMA vegan sneaker is a meaningful step forward on our path toward sustainable fashion. Its upper is made completely from apple leather, a sustainable material produced using fibers reclaimed from the waste left over after apple juice production. This apple leather is both waterproof and breathable, so it's suited to long walks in any conditions, be it rainy days or hot weather. Thanks to this durable, high-quality plant-based leather, these sneakers are built to stay with you for years.

On the inside, the shoe features a lining made of soft, flexible bamboo fabric that hugs your foot comfortably, keeping it warm in winter and cool in summer. Bamboo naturally resists bacteria and fungus and helps regulate temperature, keeping your feet comfortable throughout every season.

With your health in mind, we've used natural cork insoles, which are long-lasting, antiseptic, absorb moisture, and help prevent rubbing or chafing. To top it off, the sole is ultralight and comfortable, letting you wear the sneakers all day without any downsides.

EMMA reflects our minimalist philosophy - we've left out anything unnecessary in terms of extra elements or decoration. Rather than conventional laces, the shoes come with 100% natural linen laces, which can be easily recycled once their life is over.

These sneakers are constructed using Strobel construction, a specialized shoemaking method that boosts comfort while cutting the use of adhesives by 70-80% compared to traditional stitched/studded techniques. This construction method also increases breathability and helps prevent the unpleasant odors that adhesives can produce when they react with sweat.
