The original concept of the oat pattie came about before we were married in New Orleans where my husband owned a small bistro where he made oat patties from scratch. Many years later when we got together in Florida he began making them for me and some our close friends. The oat patties were a hit among our family and friends. The consensus was that

"The world needs to taste this!”

We began working on ways to bring this delicious burger to the public.

At the time a restamant was not possible so we came up with packaging a mix so people could make their own burgers at home.

After testing several recipes and sending sample packages to family and friends we received excellent reviews so there was no doubt that we were going to pursue this venture and Joe’s Oat Patties was born. We wanted to bring great food made quick and easy and vegan friendly.
