For the FIRST time in the history of animal protection, Allied Scholars for Animal Protection (ASAP) is building a SYSTEMATIC infrastructure to make animal protection and veganism IMPOSSIBLE to miss in universities. Millions of future leaders form their values, habits, and careers on campus, yet learning about the harms of animal agriculture and the benefits of a plant based diet is usually accidental. ASAP changes that by ensuring students have repeated, unavoidable exposure to the realities of meat, egg, and dairy production and to the public health, environmental, and ethical case for plant based diets.
ASAP builds a durable NETWORK of student chapters supported with training,
mentorship, funding, and on the ground logistical support so the work is consistent, scalable, cost effective, and built to last. With a core team of 3 to 4 people, ASAP expanded to nearly 30 major universities and in 2025 reached about 3,000,000 people online, generated nearly 700,000 in person impressions, and achieved over 31,000 deep engagements.
