About This Item

Some teas suit a quiet morning; this one belongs to the bright middle of the day. Wild Berry Tea is a caffeine-free herbal blend that captures the feeling of summer in a cup — the brewed liquor turns a deep ruby-red, the first sip is gently tart, and the finish is softly fruity. Hibiscus flowers contribute vivid color and a floral tang, rose hips lend body and a mellow fruitiness, and elderberry adds a deep, dark-berry note that ties the blend together. Enjoy it hot during a slow afternoon, or steep it strong and pour over ice for one of the most beautiful iced teas you could serve — no sweetener needed, although a spoonful of honey or a few threads of saffron can take it further. Since it contains no caffeine, it's suitable for the whole family to drink at any hour, morning through night. Each bag holds 0.5 LB of loose leaf tea, enough to brew roughly 75 cups — weeks' worth of everyday drinking from one pack.\n\nHighlights:\n- Caffeine-free herbal blend, suitable for any time of day\n- Made with hibiscus flowers, rose hips, elderberry, and natural fruit flavor\n- Bright and fruity with a gentle tartness and floral finish\n- Brews a striking ruby-red color, delicious hot or iced\n- 0.5 LB of loose leaf tea yields approximately 75 cups\n- Complements honey or a pinch of saffron nicely\n\nBrewing instructions: Use about 3 grams, or one heaping teaspoon, per 6 oz of water. Bring the water to a full boil, pour it over the tea leaves, and let steep for 4 minutes. To make iced tea, use double the amount of leaves and pour the brewed tea over a full glass of ice.
