About This Item

The upper of these sneakers is crafted entirely from apple leather, an innovative and durable material made from fibers left over after industrial apple juice and snack production. Built to last, this material keeps your sneakers dependable for years of wear. On top of that, the vegan apple leather is both waterproof and breathable, meaning you can wear these shoes no matter the weather, whether it's humid or hot outside. To the moon and back - always with class! Depending on which color option you choose, the interior of these vegan sneakers is lined either with soft, flexible bamboo material or with breathable organic cotton. For the sake of your health, we also chose to include a natural cork insole, which is durable, antiseptic, absorbs moisture, and helps prevent chafing. Rounding things off is an ultralight, comfortable sole that lets you wear these shoes all day without any downsides. For the JANE model specifically, we kept decoration to a minimum, adding just one detail: a small checkered patch on the back of the upper, made from 100% recycled disposable bottles. Additionally, rather than using standard shoelaces, we chose laces made of 100% pure linen, a natural material chosen with easy future recycling in mind. This model is built using Strobel construction, a shoemaking method that maximizes shoe comfort while cutting adhesive use by 70-80% compared to traditional studded construction techniques. This construction method also increases breathability and helps prevent the unpleasant odors that adhesives can cause when they react with sweat.
