We include methylated folate as 5-MTHF from Italy, the active form of folic acid to support folate adequacy.*

We use a vegan-certified form from Canada, made from microalgae—because it’s better for the environment than fish oil.
Vitamin B12
We use the biologically-active form (the same kind found in food and our body) from Connecticut, as opposed to the commonly used cyanocobalamin.
Vitamin D3
We opted for a vegan-certified form from UK, sustainably-harvested lichen, as opposed to non-animal friendly sources like sheep’s wool or fish liver.
Iron
We chose a chelated form from Utah – that’s backed by decades of human studies—plus, it’s shown to be gentle on the stomach, unlike other forms.

I tend to have a sensitivity to vitamins, but these go down so well (PLUS I love the mint flavor) with the capsules and don’t upset my stomach like some other do.

I can’t speak to the efficacy of these vitamins, but I’ve never taken a vitamin that made me feel perceptibly different. However, they taste perfectly fine. Someone mentioned a fishy taste, which I think is utter nonsense. It tastes and smells strongly of mint, and since you are swallowing the pill whole you never have the opportunity to taste the contents of the gel. An able bodied adult will find the pills easy to take.
