I was taking some fancy prenatals – the most expensive from the store – because I’m bougie like that. Well, their after taste plus my nausea was a terrible combination and I was miserable. I’m sorry to my poor growing fetus early in my pregnancy, but I might have skipped my prenatals a few times because I was so tired and achy from throwing up, until I found these!!I look forward to them. There’s no aftertaste. Having to swallow all these pills didn’t help with the nausea either, and the fact that these are gummies really helps! I’m now in my third trimester and haven’t missed a dose. However, because these are in gummy form, you need to add additional supplements. I’m taking a slow release iron pill and DHA pills (strawberry flavored from the Nordic Naturals brand) and now the prenatals feel complete.I know it’s also a matter of health and genes, and just how that particular baby is growing – so I can’t say that thanks to these prenatals my baby has been doing great – but she has. All baby’s measurements have been perfect and I am a 40 year old pregnant lady. All is good!!

I am vegetarian so maybe the taste does not turn me off as much. I am used to eating fruit strips and an abundance of greens, and unsweetened fruits. I like tart and these are wonderfully tart. I find them a lot less artificial tasting than any other prenatal gummy I have had. I ate some that just had loads of sugar coated on them in my last pregnancy. Just seemed counterintuitive. I then moved to smarty pants and to be honest, at first they tasted great but then they just tasted nauseatingly sweet, as well. I finally found this after some heavy research and I am not going into my third bottle. I love them! Also, I have noticed my nails have gotten much stronger – something in there is working! So, I am pleased with these and will continue them!
